Over 70 Years of Service
For Mark Sarkisian Jr. and Dale Sarkisian of Capitol Siding Company in Auburn, Massachusetts, business is very good. They employ five salesmen, and during the height of the season keep as many as 15 crews busy. What’s their secret? Customer satisfaction—they deliver top quality, unparalleled service and lasting value.
These are men that customers trust. On residential projects, they don’t ask for the money up front. They get paid when the job is complete. Founded by Mark Sarkisian, Sr. in 1951, the company has never had a customer who’s failed to pay. Quality products are crucial to their success. The Sarkisians choose products from companies their customers know, such as Mastic, Harvey Building Products and CertainTeed brands. They use only high grade siding that give them a real sales advantage.
They count on their loyal and well-trained installers for top performance, too. The average installer has been working for the Capitol Siding family for 20 years, and some have been with the company for over 40 years.
Service is a high priority. All customers receive a reasonable estimate of when the work will begin. To make sure everything runs smoothly, Capitol Siding salesmen call on homeowners while the job is still in progress. Customers are delighted with this kind of attention, and are often quick to provide referrals.
The Sarkisian family underscores the value of community involvement. Mark Jr. is a past president and serves on the Board of Directors of the Auburn Chamber of Commerce and Auburn District Nurses Association. An avid golfer, Mark was on the Board of Governors at Pleasant Valley Country Club. Dale is a former Auburn Little League coach, St. Joseph’s Basketball coach, and Auburn Girls Fast-Pitch softball coach and Vice President. He has supported Auburn Youth & Family Services, Pakachoag Community Music School, Auburn Public Schools, and served as an Auburn Town Meeting Member. Through these activities Mark Jr. and Dale know many local families and have achieved a high level of recognition and trust within the community.
